James Gunn Teases the Guardians Role in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 director James Gunn is having a very busy year. He is in the process of post production on the next Marvel  intergalactic adventure with our favorite a-holes, promoting his new film The Belko Experiment, and giving his direction for the team in Avengers Infinity War.

Thanks to the folks at Complex, Gunn was able to give a snippet of information about the teams role in Infinity War but made sure he stayed secretive.

“You know listen, I don’t think we should overstate things that it is an Avengers movie,” he said, “but the Guardians are a part of the cosmic universe, they’re a part of Thanos’ stories, so, they are in there, and they have, not the biggest, but, an integral part to that.”

It seems that the Guardians will probably have limited screen time but right now that is too early to tell. With San Diego Comic Con and D23 on the horizon maybe some new footage will give us a idea on how the film will go.

Avengers Infinity War comes to theaters May 4th 2018
